Job Description
The Inventory Specialist will maintain inventory accuracy and process incoming cannabis shipments. The Inventory Specialist must have exemplary attention to detail, organization skills, a sense of urgency, and excellent communication skills. This person will be responsible for intake, labeling new products, and monitoring the store’s inventory. This person will perform detailed receiving, auditing, and destruction procedures outlined by the company policy and state regulation. The Inventory Specialist will maintain the physical organization of all products to provide optimal efficiency and accountability within the dispensary.

NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending ladders/stairwells while traveling throughout the building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

· Restock inventory on the Sales Floor throughout the day. Stock as many products as possible out on the floor. Monitor Sales Floor periodically for restocks.

· Each Friday – Prepare Vault for Saturday and Sunday by fully stocking the sales floor before the end of the shift. Prepare backstock in Vault to be easily moved to Sales Floor by other staff. Communicate any specifics that need to be done over the weekend.

· Prepare for Deliveries:

– Responsible for verifying COAs / Invoice / Manifest and saving this data to Sharepoint

– Create products in the catalog as needed (refer to SOP)

· Intake Deliveries:

– Weigh boxes and count product

– Verify physical delivery against Metrc manifest(s)

– Issues – Call buyer about issues and before any rejection takes place

· Post-Delivery:

– Receive on Metrc and combine packages as needed (refer to SOP)

– Receive on Dutchie

– Ensure website accuracy

– Create store labels and apply

– Move new product to Sales Floor as soon as possible

– Follow up with teams about new products/restocks

– Ensure the website is updated with product information

· Prepare transfers for pick up and return to vendors as needed.

· Collect waste, quarantined, or returned cannabis products in associated locked and labeled Vault bins

· Record above product(s) on associated waste log

· Waste destruction will take place once per month with another agent

· Review product expirations weekly and report any products within 3 months of expiration to the buyer

· Audit the website weekly for flaws

· Perform monthly full inventory audit

· Report discrepancies to both store manager and inventory leadership

· Perform quality assurance as directed by management

· Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
