As we enter the final week of Women’s History month, our team at Joint Operations is bringing attention to some of today’s most influential women within the cannabis industry. These cannabis heroes have dedicated their professional careers to alternative medicine and have made significant achievements pertaining to its advancement in Massachusetts.

 

Laura Beohner – President & Co-Founder of The Healing Rose

 

Laura Beohner is the President & Co-Founder of The Healing Rose. Founded in 2016 and based in Newburyport, Massachusetts, The Healing Rose is a MDAR licensed processor handcrafting body care and oils. Laura and her team believe in using 100% natural ingredients that are cruelty-free, paraben-free, & GMO-free in their cannabis products.

 

The Healing Rose currently offers cannabinoid-infused tinctures, bath soaks, salves, massage oils, and lip balms. Soon, the company will be able to provide a full line of suppositories and even a facial skincare line.

Ann M. Brum – CEO & Founder of Joint Venture

 

As CEO, Ann M. Brum has been responsible for all aspects of her cannabis business including creating revenue, leading a team, marketing, branding, public relations, and more.

 

Joint Venture is an ancillary cannabis company that consults and services brand development with an emphasis on increasing cannabis brands and social initiatives’ reach and revenue. It was the very first Women Business Enterprise (WBE) in Massachusetts and continues to pave the way for future female-owned cannabis businesses across the state.

 

Ann’s clients range from emerging startups to single-state vertical operators looking for strategic partnerships & creative services within the cannabis industry.

 

Angela Bradway – CEO & Founder of Canna Mgt & Massachusetts Cannabis Company

 

Angela Bradway is a widowed mother of two children. During her late husband’s battle with stage four Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, she was a strong advocate for Cannabis treatment. After witnessing the effects that cannabis had on her husband, she advocated for other cancer patients.

 

After years of neurological and nerve damage from Lyme Disease, she quit all pharmaceutical drugs and alcohol and made a life-changing decision to go to school and focused more on natural healing remedies. Soon after, she became one of the first in Massachusetts to create a 100% Women Founded and Managed cannabis retail and delivery business, the Massachusetts Cannabis Company.

 

Today, Angela continues to spend her professional career as a serial cannabis entrepreneur and social equity advocate.

Marion McNabb – DrPH, MPH, CEO & President

 

Dr. Marion McNabb has a breadth of knowledge and experience within the cannabis industry. She is the CEO of 510 Innovations, a full-service research, data analytics, and education firm for the cannabis, entheogenic, and healthcare industries. She is also the President of Cannabis Center of Excellence, a 501c3 cannabis research, education, and advocacy organization.

 

In addition to her contributions to the cannabis industry, Dr. McNabb has over 15 years of global public health field experience implementing sexual reproductive health and rights programs. She lived for over eight years in Ethiopia implementing HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs.

Tania Boardman – Operations and Administrative Leader at Cannapreneur Partners

 

Tania Boardman, MBA, has focused her professional career on operations, administration and human resource management. She currently oversees both operations and administration for Cannapreneur Partners, a cannabis business development service in Westborough, Massachusetts.

 

Tania Boardman holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. She also has a Bachelors in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
